This work is composed of a set of works created on different supports that presuppose an initial questioning between the Divine, the Human Being and Art. For me it was of great importance to clarify the relationship between these concepts, that was my starting point.
The traditional and stereotypical concepts of God and Religion that until then were true for me, were called into question due to a personal investigation into the themes, which left in me a deep feeling of mystery, dissatisfaction and curiosity to go beyond the who knew and saw.
The research led me to deepen my knowledge about new concepts and themes that were related to the initial research and that enriched it, providing me with a broader view of the Transcendent and therefore the Feminine – Mother Goddess – Mother Earth. There is no way to explain the experience of the impact of these new, broader views on my artistic work! I was only able to reveal the presence of an ancestral absence, which seemed to me to be marginalized and led me unconsciously to work intensely on the topic.
Thus, combining these unconscious actions with the materiality of artistic means and techniques, I was able to see in a Material way the inner abyss surrounding the Divine Feminine, the one that gives birth, death and rebirth again, just like the artistic process and work.
