Optikós

This Project began in 2018, with the intention of making use of a huge set of chemigrams that since this period have been archived and considered rejected.
During the process of creating the Cameraless Develop Project, the images created were divided into two archives: the death archive (with rejected images) and the archive with images that mount into my artistic project. The accumulation of rejected images grew and feeling that the label I had given them did not do them justice, I decided to give them a new life, creating optical devices using them as well as using lenses to approximate a certain image.
These devices are small archives that can be manipulated by the observer and that value images that were once neglected, giving them a meaning – a soul.
