Effugium

Effugium Latin word to define breach or opening.
Succeeding the Liber Genesis Project, in this new body of work, I explore the concept of matter in the process and artistic work, exploring its dual nature: material ephemerality and its infinite possibility of transmutation.
This materiality of dual nature thus gives each work a soul – a material body with a soul, similar to the human being composed of matter (ephemerality, vulnerability) and spirit.
Exploring these concepts, I set out to extract potential from the materials, processes and artistic techniques at my disposal. The work process was a period of experimentation and trying to find the most effective expression of an initial search.
The initial acts of transgression in photography opened up a range of possibilities for me to explore the photographic medium in different ways. It was at the point of collapse and rupture that the medium began to reveal itself. with answers alluding to the transcendent!
This openness and detachment to subvert photographic processes led her to approach painting and drawing in a different, more liberated way. Between control and subversion, between the construction and destruction of the work, I accepted accidents and errors, as a possibility of seeing what was not visible, where the material itself creates illusions of reality offering me successive revelations.
